How it works
- Sign in securely with your Google account
- The app creates a dedicated folder named “Drive Audio Player”
- Add music to this folder using the app
- Play your songs instantly in the browser
For security reasons, the app can only play music that is added to this folder using the app.Files manually dragged into Google Drive will not be detected.
About the “Drive Audio Player” folder
- The folder is created automatically on first login
- Only audio files added via the app are playable
- This limitation is required by Google Drive security permissions
- The app cannot scan or access the rest of your Drive
To add new music, click the “Add Songs” link in the header and select files to upload.
If the folder mapping ever needs to be refreshed, click the “Map Drive” button on the player screen.
